A little story about us.

Simply stated, we want to use our talent and expertise to help those in the business of doing good. The dictionary definition of “virtue” is a ‘behavior showing high moral standards, the general quality of being morally good.’ We’re more like “virtue-in-process”. It’s not really a destination, but more about the process of finding that goodness within. Phewf, right? And that’s what we want for our clients, to help them find the virtue within and use it to better their business, and in turn, better the world.

After working the corporate consumer circuit for more than 15 years, we began to consider our legacy, and the world our tiny humans will grow up to explore. We realized our opportunity to take more of an active role in becoming good ancestors. From this, The Virtue Project was born and quickly embraced by powerhouses in the nonprofit world who valued our approach of amplifying their stories to new audiences. And while that remains a core pillar of what we do, we also know that brands carry so much influence and wield power that can be used to benefit others. This is our primary focus — helping leaders of brands build purpose at their core. That is our sweet spot.

We know our strengths, and we know when we rely on the support of our network of experts and the impressive Business Equity Council that we have the benefit of working with to amplify our own impact.

As a nimble team of two, we dive right in and become partners at the table, working as an extension of the internal team with accountability as though it was our own business. In short, we geek out on the regular when it comes to helping brands find their purpose. It always starts with their vision, mission and core values — and if those aren’t clear, then that is exactly where we start.

And for the two of us, how we do business with each other, with our clients and partners, is all guided by the same compass: use empathy to empower others, engage transparently and honestly, and add a healthy dose of cheekiness to keep it real.
